From Seattle: Take Interstate 5 South past Tacoma, and exit onto Highway 512 following the signs to Mt. Rainier. Take the second exit onto Pacific Avenue, which is also Highway 7 South, following the sign to Paradise. Pacific Avenue at this point is a stretch of Highway 7 that is stop-and-go traffic for about 10 miles through suburbs of Tacoma; Parkland and Spanaway. Buy gas if you need to at the second ARCO Station you see along Pacific Ave., where it is the least expensive. Pacific Ave. ends finally, and becomes Highway 7 again; a 2-lane route that climbs up into the mountains, taking you to the very small town of Elbe. At Elbe, bear left and begin Highway 706 East, following the signs to Mt. Rainier National Park. From Elbe, we are 6.7 miles on the right. Look for our sign and an antique Railroad baggage wagon that has our "Vacancy" sign. We are on a slight curve on Highway 706, and many people pass us and have to turn around. If you see a sign that says "Welcome to Ashford" you have gone too far!

From Olympia: Take Interstate 5 North, exit in Lacey, following Hwy 510 and signs to Yelm. In Yelm, follow Hwy 702 to Hwy 161. Turn right onto Hwy 161 proceeding south to the town of Eatonville. At Eatonville's main intersection which is the only stoplight in town, take a left, following the Alder Cut-Off Road to Alder Lake. Turn left onto Hwy 7 heading South to the town of Elbe. At Elbe, bear to the left and begin Hwy 706, following the signs to Mount Rainier National Park. We are 6.7 miles east of Elbe on the right. Our driveway is located just before milepost 7 on Highway 706.

From Portland: Take Interstate 5 North, take exit #68, toward Morton/Yakima, onto Highway 12 East. At Morton, turn left onto Highway 7 North. At Elbe, turn right and begin Highway 706 East. We are 6.7 miles on the right. Our driveway is located just before milepost 7 on Highway 706.

From Yakima: Follow Highway 12 West over White Pass to Packwood. Turn right onto Skate Creek Road (Forest Road 52) follow it north for 23 miles to Highway 706. Turn left onto Highway 706, travelling west. We are 4 miles on your left.

From Paradise: Travel west on Hwy 706. (following signs to Seattle) We are exactly 25 miles west of Paradise on the left, 6 miles west of the Nisqually entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park.
